Word 2007

I had created a contract on word 2007 but saved it for 2003 that way people
could open the file without a problem. Now another person made corrections
send it back to me I open the file I turned off the Tracking and accepted all
changes and made more changes and saved it as a Final copy. When every I
retrieve the file instead of being a final copy it opens as final showing
markup which makes it look kind of weird so I have to indicate again Final
save it again and still it comes up as Final Showing Markup. Now does this
have anything to do that it was from version 2007 to version 2003?

If there are no tracked changes or comments in your document, then Final
view would look the same as Final Showing Markup view. You need click
on the "Accept All Tracked Changes" and "Delete All Comments" commands
on the Reviewing toolbar. If you just change to Final view on the
Reviewing toolbar, then that only hides the tracked changes, but does
not remove them. See

for more information.
