Word 2007 Normal Blank Document Template overwritten in error

I have managed to save the blank normal word template with written text in it.
Now when I try to create a new document I have to delete the text before I
can begin. How do I restore the old template back to its original blank state?

Hi,

Delete the normal.dotm file while MSWord is closed under:
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates

Then re-open Word and a new blank one should be created.
