Word 2007 emailing document

How do I email my finished word document as an attachement to someone? This
2007 version is confusing to me. Help
 
The same way you used to attach a file. Open your email program and attach
the file. Make sure you know if your recipient can read a 2007 Word doc.

The Office button in the top left is equivalent to the old File menu, so
....

Office Button > Send > E-mail
 
Can I email while I am still in "word"?
