Word 2007 Don't add spaces between paragraphs?

M

Mark Hedder

I want to remove the spaces between paragraphs as default for all future
documents.

I've tried the Microsoft fix for it, reverting to Word 2003 style using the
style ribbon and clicking default.

This works when I manually open word from the start menu and create a blank
document, HOWEVER, when I open a blank document via right click -> New ->
Microsoft Word (Which is Much more convenient because I don't have to search
for the place I want to save my document every single time), it always
reverts back to the default 2007 format with spaces between paragraphs. What
way is there to fix this?

To allow that you would need to open normal.dotm in Word and apply the
unspaced version of the normal style to the first line of the document. Type
a character (so that Word sees the change) delete it then save the template.
Word should then open with that style applied to the first paragraph of the
new blank document.
