Word 2007 bugs - how to notify Microsoft?

Hi - Is there any way (email address or website) to report Word 2007 bugs to
Micosoft? For example, in Word 2007, if you use a nonbreaking hyphen to join
two words, the new combined word is flagged as misspelled (which is fine),
but then you cannot "Ignore All" instances of the combined word when doing a
spell-check. Wen doing a spell-check, you must ignore each individual
instance of the combined word throughout the document. As you can imagine,
if you have a proper name that includes a nonbreaking hyphen on every page of
a 200 page contract, individually ignoring each instance of the combined word
during spell-check can get very annoying very quickly. Thanks for any
replies!
 
I'm sure someone can answer your question re where to report bugs, which this
certainly appears to be.

In the interim, simply replace all instances of the compound name with the
non-breaking hyphen with something like zzz or xxx (lowercase), run spell
check and whenever you need to reinsert the compound, use the Replace command
(find xxx or zzz) and replace with the compound name (with ^~ between the two
parts of the compound name).
 
Thanks for the suggestion. We had already thought of something similar. But
ultimately we shouldn't have to come up with this type of workaround. Word
should work correctly!

Have you tried adding the hyphenated word to you custom dictionary?

Although adding the nonbreaking hyphenated words to our custom dictionaries
is a workaround for the problem, most of the time we do not want to add these
words to our custom dictionaries. There are literally hundreds of
nonbreaking hyphenated words in legal documents at our firm, and we do not
want to add them all to our custom dictionaries. Thanks for the workarounds,
but we want Microsoft to fix this bug so that Word acts as it did in earlier
versions where we could "Ignore All" instances of a nonbreaking hyphenated
word. The real issue is (1) Word 2007's handling of words with nonbreaking
hyphens during spell-check is buggy, and (2) how do we let Microsoft know
this needs to be fixed? There must be some way to notify them of an obvious
bug, or get some kind of response from someone on their team. It seems odd
that literally every kind of software firm has some kind of responsive
product support group - except Microsoft.

In 2007, click the Office Pizza Button, take a look in Word Options>
Resources> Contact Us. In prior versions use Help> Send Feedback.

We have the same issue but the placing the in the Custom Dictionary does not
fix the issue.
 
If you post a cryptic message unconnected to the thread it refers to, no-one
will have a clue what you are on about.

We have the same issue. Placing in Custom Dictionary does not help. It's
driving me crazy to accept each instance individually. Hope somebody has a
solution.
