Word 2007 and XML, again

Guest

Hi,
Well, Chester just helped me to get started with W2007 and XML. I needed to
turn on the "Developer" tab under Word Options. But, now that I've done that,
where are the XML schemas. Any search throughout my Office directory
structure shows me some xml files, but, there don't seem to be any schemas to
get started. Does anyone know where I can get some. I'm sure Microsoft
provides some.

Thanks.

What are you trying to do exactly? There are different types of XML
capability in Word. You have the XML schemas, which are the same as they
were in previous versions but there is new functionality you can use
instead, called Content Controls that can be bound to a data store. And you
have the Open Office XML file format which isn't the same as a schema.
