Word 2003 "Save As" path is incorrect

Hello,

The strangest thing. It use to be whenever you opened any Word documents
from a folder, and you performed "Save As", the default location of where
that Word document was last located would display. Say for instance, I have
two Word documents opened. I click on either one of the documents and select
SAVE AS, the location of where that particular document was stored would
display. This is not the case now. If I click on either one of the documents
and select SAVE AS, I now will see the folder location of the last document
that I opened no matter what Word document I selected. It will always point
to the last document location that I opened instead of the document
individual location.

Anyone has a suggestion on what setting changed or how to fix it? I've
already tried reinstalling Office.

Thanks.

This could be a macro or an Add-in. If you hold down CTRL when starting Word,
you'll go into Safe Mode; global templates with macros and Add-ins won't load.
Do you still see the same behavior while in Safe Mode?

Hello Cindy,

Thanks for responding; however, since I had not received a response within a
few days of posting, I uninstalled Office and it still didn't correct the
problem. I eventually had no other options but to reformat the user's hard
drive and reinstalled his applications. It works fine now.
