The text must be formatted correctly - are there any easier way to do this?

The text must be formatted correctly

Define "correctly"! And, while we're at it, also your environment, like
version of Word, and the files you are trying to incorporate in your
document. There is no a priori formatting (at all!) for text files.

- are there any easier way to do this? Sharepoint...?

I very much doubt that Sharepoint is the right tool to _simplify_ this
task. But we need to know more first.
