WORD 2003: De-Highlighted Copy and Paste Functions

G

Guest

I am using a new laptop provided at a client site and have realized that in
every WORD document I open, the ability to cut and past text/table
(information in cells) is not active. The clipboard indicates no data are
being collected and the cut/paste options under the edit drop-down menu are
not highlighted. Under TOOLS the options (EDIT tab) indicate that the
2002-2003 WORD default capabilities are being used.

I have never seen this before. Word appears to be functioning normally
otherwise. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried using Ctrl+C for Copy and Ctrl+V for Paste?
