Word 2002-wants an install disc

Everytime I startup, Word 2002 starts looking for an
install disc. After I close all the error messages--ie--
can not find disc, etc, Word is there as normal. I also
can not open a Word document, via normal routing, due to
the same error messages. I have to save into My Docs and
open using another program.

I'm no guru; but I seem to recall Word has a clipart gallery with it,
doesn't it? That might be what it's looking for when it looks for the cd?

Just a thought - Try Setup and go for the Modify feature - look over the
choices for installs. Don't forget, there is often a Details button to show
more parts of what'sw being installed.

Not all features of word are installed initially and if you have tried to
use a feature not yet installed the word will look for the install disk. If
you have Word on your PC you should have the disk or the manufacturers
recovery disk perhaps. If it's the latter you will have to consult the
manual or call their help desk.
