Word 2002 Track Changes insertions vs. deletions colors

Until recently, the Track Changes options allowed me to use different color
and formatting for insertions vs. deletions (e.g., blue/underscored for
insertions and red/strike-through for deletions). Somehow, that option has
disappeared, and I can only decide on one color for both types of action.
Can anybody explain why the feature disappeared and tell how to recover it?
Thanks.

This is for 2003, but could be similar for 2002.
Hope this helps.

You must be high on something if you are saying that in Word 2002 you
could choose different colors for insertions vs. deletions from the
Tools | Options | Track Changes menu. That option never existed in Word
2002, although it does in earlier and later Word versions. In Word
2002, you need to use a macro such as the one at
http://gregmaxey.mvps.org/Put_Track_Changes_Back_On_Track.htm to choose
different colors for insertions vs. deletions.

I'm just high on life! But thanks for your comment. I think my employer may
indeed have changed Word versions last year (yes, we do things very slowly
around here and are usually a couple of versions behind the rest of the
world). I may try the suggested macro if the tech people don't get concerned
it will foul up other aspects of the program.
