Word 2002, starting slow

Word 2002 starts up very slow on my Dell Dimension. I increased the RAM to
1GB, but it still takes 15 seconds for the hourglass to disappear befre I can
open a document?

That's not too unusual, especially if you have a lot of fonts installed, are
loading add-ins at startup, etc. But if you have Norton AntiVirus installed,
disable its Office Plug-in; that will help some.
