Word 2002-Publisher2002 Conflict!

Double clicking a .doc file to open it, activates Publisher.
Word files open normally from within Word.
Publisher files open normally, from within publisher& by double clicking
..pub files.
Your help would be appreciated.

Sounds as though your file associations have changed. Right-click any .doc file,
properties, Opens with...change.

Got it! Thanks....Didn't get beyond "open with...."

Thanks, tried it, but changing association, as Mary, appears to have been the
fix

Normally, though, re-registering does the trick.
