A web host that doesn't upload Word .jpg files. What to do?

I have created a Word document including text and 1 clip art from My Pictures
file, to upload to a web picture host. They don't upload any files from
Word, .doc, or Publisher, .pub. I saved the file as something.jpg, and I
don't know how to export it to an acceptable file? I have Windows XP with
Word 2003. Thank you!

Word is not really a great graphics app, but see
http://www.gmayor.com/extract_images_from_word.htm. In order to combine the
text with the picture to be extracted, you'll need to select all of it and
copy it, then Paste Special as a picture.

In order to output a Word document as a jpg graphic (or graphics), you will
need some third party software. The obvious choice is SnagIt 8, which has a
demo version capable of performing this task. Clue .. print to the SnagIt
driver. Upload the resulting image(s).

Print to the SnagIt printer, then save the result as a JPEG (SnagIt offers a
wide variety of file formats for saving).
