Word 2000

I started working on a document at work and resumed working on it at home.
The word document was orginally saved on a floppy disk. After making the
changes to the document I attempted to save it onto the floppy disk.
However, a message stated it could not be save due to file permission error.
I tried to save it over and over without success. Then somehow the document
was deleted from the disk. I retrieved it from the recycle bin, but I cannot
access it. A message now states the document name or path is invalid. Try
these suggestions... Is there a way to get back the document?
