Hi,
I'm trying to fix a problem with my webpage. All the hyperlinks navigate
fine but
the cursor does not change from an arrow to a hand on three links. Screen tips
shows up fine, too.

URL?

Are you viewing the web page in Word or Internet Explorer?

To have the change take effect in Word 2002 saved
web pages you'll need to use the MS Office 2000
HTML v2 Filter Add-in and export to or from the Start=>Programs
menu, 'filter' the HTML file to remove the MS Office specific
content.

Hi,
I'm viewing in Word as webpage preview and also IE.
The url is: www .himministry.org
Thanks

I get alt text on approx half a dozen images and the hand when going over
both the links under
WEBSITES TO VISIT

and also the hand when going over the email links at page bottom, which BTW
is a bad idea.

The result of open display of email addys will be even more spam than if you
used an icon or word to link to the addy. The most effective manner is in
scripts.

I'm using IE 6.0

In summary, the problem of the hand not displaying seems to be related to
using Word (a word processing software) as your browser :-(

The hand and alt tags also function on Firbird.

I'm not firing up the webtv browser :-))

Thanks for your response....I see that they are functional in Firefox &
Netscape but
there must be something wrong with my Internet Explorer 6.0 because it still
shows arrows only under the 1st 3 links to HSLDA, LEAH and Syr LEAH.
Thanks for the security advise on the e-mails, I'll study up on that. :)

"IF" you run your page through the HTML-Filter (removing 99% of the
unnecessary html) then, upload the filter page?

I'll take a look at the links.
The way things are, I'm afraid searching through lines of bloated MS html is
hopeless.

A simple option for you to survey would be to copy the "html links"[1] from
the working links to the non-working links (editing the new link addresses
in the process.)

[1] Please note 99% of the supposed html on that page is MS BLOAT and
copying that bloat only increases the confusion.

Thanks, I'll see if the filter solves the problem.
