Word 2000 and Word 2003 living together...

Hi!
In a machine running Win 2000 and office 2000 I installed Word 2003.
The Word 2003 has become the default program to open *.doc.
To open a doc in word 2000, I have to insert the installation CD and open
the program first.
My questions are:
1. How do I make word 2000 the default program again?
2. What do I do to avoid using the installation CD (other than copying it to
the hard drive...)

Thanks in advance,
Hector

You won't be able to make Word 2000 the default. Every time Word 2003 runs it
will re-register itself as the default.

Note that Microsoft does NOT support side-by-side installations of different
versions of Office.

If you're getting a prompt to insert the installation CD everytime you run Word
2000, then there's a problem in your machine's configuration. You may need to
uninstall Office 2003, then uninstall Office 2000, then install them both
again.
