won't let me delete temp files

while trying to copy a CD, windows mirrored the CD files
into a temp file onto my hard drive. The copy failed and
now the files are stuck there at the end of a 42 step sub-
folder under my CD drive. Can't figure any way to get
WinXP to let me delete them. Anyone have any ideas??

Driving me crazy!!
 
With that drive selected, do you have the option to Delete Temporary Files
in the File menu?
