Won't Install

Hi, i've created a spare 40gb partition on my hard-drive to preview vista. I
have download both the x86 and x64 but I cannot get it past the install
process.

x64 Loaded the set-up files and then went to a black screen.
x86 Loads the files, goes to the vista green background image then hangs.

I've tried many times but the same thing keeps happening.

I have a amd64 3000+
1gb ram
512mb 7800gt - Graphics Card
a WinFast NF4 K8AB - Motherboard

Can anybody help

Thanks

You don't say what kind of hard drives you have. It might be that you need
to provide drivers for your hard disk controller during Stage 1.
