Intially, I did not notice the hyperlink. I went to the site and printed the
instructions. However, I do not know how to find the registry file. I tried
the 'search' function, and it didn't find the file name

I found the tool and there was only one file of 51kb in it. Now what do I do.
Remove Outlook? It is the biggest pita I have.

There was only a single file in your OLK## folder?
Again; what happens if you try to open the file directly from Outlook? Do
you get an error message?

I have two different problems: 1) Try to open attachement,e.g., pdf file,:
Error message is: ACESS DENIED. 2) Try to connect to hyperlink, say your
e-mail to me: a box opens up with the title"Locate link browser". I looked
for IE on my desktop, and when I double click, I get something to the effect:
Outlook cannot start the web browser....web address(ms's web address) may be
incorrect or web browser is not correctly installed"

Personally, I think I should remove Office and start over. I have had
problems in the past 4 months with Outlook and IE and have used MS Tech
Support. They have not been able to solve any probs, except to say remove
ZA, Norton, etc, etc, to no avail. Any response to this? If I do remove
Office 2003, all of my files will stay on my hard drive, right?

1) After clearing the SecureTemp folder that error should go away. Open the
folder and then open an attachment from Outlook and see if the file actually
gets created there (use F5 to refresh your Explorer screen)

2) Control Panel-> Internet Options-> tab Programs-> button Reset Web
Settings

Reinstalling Office won't help you with configuration errors. This also
means that when you do decide to remove and install Office you won't loose
any data.

I cleaned out the folder and that didn't work; however, when I reset IE to
default, it now works. Thanks,it has been a long haul
