Wont capture when start

I have my camera plugged into my computer and it is recognized by it. The
problem is when i start to capture from it in wmm it will get to 5kb and then
all of a sudden stop and it wont capture anything. Also in the preview thing
you arent able to see the picture. And finally when i click on stop it gives
me the screen that says something is not working. Would anyone know what is
wrong?
 
Actually the camera does not stop it keeps going but the picture never shows
on the computer
