Won't Accept my moview

I am using MS Windows movie maker version 2.1 on my XP system.

When I try to upload my videos from "my videos" file I get the following
message.

C:\Documents and Settings\Aurora Dickson\My Documents\My Videos\Ava and
Mommy - November 2008.mpeg could not be imported. An interface has too many
methods to fire events from

What does this mean? Why won't my videos upload into this program? I would
appreciate any help someone can give me.

check the Import Movie Source Files > Video > MPEG page of my website...

You need to convert the file to one that works, before importing
