WMV -> AVI, MPEG converter

TMPGEnc might do the trick. From an online forum, I learned that if you
change the extension from WMV to ASF (or ASP -- I forget which off the top
of my head), then it can convert the video directly. Doesn't always seem to
work, but I did use it successfully to convert some.

You perhaps need to upgrade to a Browser that supports scrolling?

No, what I needed to do was reinstall my browser (slimbrowser). As the
evening progresssed I realised that something was wrong. My apologies
for jumping the gun, virtualdub1.3c is there and I just finished the d/l.
