WMP9 wont play some mpeg files

The DivX player is only for DivX encoded AVI's

Why do I get error 0xC00D119a or 0xc00d116a trying to play DVDs/MPEG-2
Files?

Hi,

I've donwloaded two video concert mpeg but WMP9 won't
play it then when I click more info it says 0xC00D119A
can't play the file.

Someone told me to download DivX player so I did but that
won't play that same file too.
I'm using XP Home.
Does anybody have any ideas? please and thanks.
