Hi,
Second post on this problem.
I realize that this is not the place to post this, but I couldn't get
a response in the Media Player news group. That group is very, very
slow.
I've got a small problem. I recently upgraded to Win XP SP2 home from
Win XP Home SP1. When I had Sp1, I was using Media Player 8, since I
upgraded to Media Player 10, I can't play MPG's. I get audio and
visualizations. I have MPG's associated with WMP. I checked the
troubleshooting on Microsoft's web site and they said that I need a
MPEG-2 decoder, another words a DVD decoder. I have one installed that
came with Intervideo's Win DVD. My DVD's play with no problem.

How do I get media player to acknowledge this codac and play MPG's?
Thanks!
