WMP won't open files

I have a lot of media files, and then I went to click on a video and nothing. i tried clicking on it again. and still nothing. So now every time I want to open a video i have to actually click open, otherwise it wont open at all.

Open WMP | Tools | Options | File Types tab |
Select All button | Apply | OK
