WMP opens but goes offscreen

Recently I've lost my WMP screen. The icon appears on the bottom toolbar, and
sound will play, so I know the program is working, but the picture/window
display shoots way off to the right and disappears off the screen, so I'm
unable to see it or to click on it.
When I minimise, it shoots down to the toolbar icon, i can then maximise and
minimise over and over again. Have tried a variety of things that seem
logical...havent uninstalled...thought there might be another way round it?

Some times cascading windows will bring an off-screen window back on-screen.

This will arrange all open windows
1. Right-click an empty area on the taskbar.
2. Click Cascade Windows.

* Windows that are reduced to taskbar buttons will not be displayed.
* To restore your windows to their previous state, right-click an empty area
on the taskbar, and then click Undo Cascade
