WMP has encountered an unknown error

trying 2 play Dark Side of the Rainbow video but video and audio codec information is blank on 'properties'. the filename is "C:\My Shared Folder\Pink Floyd - The wizard of Oz.avi" Does the lack of codec info indicate that the player wouldn't know how to properly decode and play the file? any help's appreciated!!!

download a prog called gspot from here http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
it will tell you what codec your file was encoded using.
how big is the file ? do you have the divx codec from www.divx.com
