wmm crashes and hangs under Vista

I have up to date drivers (nVidea) and am able to play individual scenes
(WMV) in WMM, but when I created a project and used the "publish movie"
option WMM hangs. One time it even rebooted the machine! Help!!

Are you just using wmv files or any others?

I am only using WMV files (from a camcorder). I can view the files but
"publish movie" causes it to hang.

It is a Panosonic GS85, but it doesn't produce the WMV directly, I am using
wmm to import the video from the camera (and it obviously creates WVM files).

Maybe I didnt explain this correctly. The files I imported using WMM display
fine and I can create a WMV file of the entire movie (on a mahine running
Vista Enterprise). However I cant burn a video DVD under Enterprise and must
use Ultimate. On my ultimate machine, it hangs when I try the "publish"
feature. I am able to view the individual cuts fine (on both machines), it is
just a hang issue on Ultimate.
