We are testing an application on Windows XP Embedded...The application
functions normally on the Windows XP Embeddded image and after some
time the performance counters start generating the following exception.
- The performance strings in the Performance registry value is
corrupted
when process Performance extension counter provider. BaseIndex value
from
Performance registry is the first DWORD in Data section, LastCounter
value is
the second DWORD in Data section, and LastHelp value is the third DWORD
in
Data section.
LoadPerf Unloading the performance counter strings for service WmiApRpl
(WmiApRpl) failed. The Error code is the first DWORD in Data section.
Event ID: 3012
I have performed the dependency checks before the development of the
image and no errors are generated during the dependecy check or during
the build process. I have all the WMI Counter Performance services
installed on my image.
Does anyone have an idea over this issue?
