I am trying to open Sky by Brodband software to be able to download sky
movies on Advent laptop and gat this error message: The performance strings
in the Performance registry value is corrupted when process Performance
extension counter provider. BaseIndex value from Performance registry is the
first DWORD in Data section, LastCounter value is the second DWORD in Data
section, and LastHelp value is the third DWORD in Data section.

Please Help

I've seen this one before and as far as I know nobody could figure out what
happened nor why any software would alter that part of the registry, can you
get any help from the software vendor because I'm not sure this is a Windows
problem and I'd think the vendor must have seen this before... although you
can of course wait and see if anyone else here has figured it out by now.
