WMI has encountered a problem and needs to close [w/ online game]

Hey all,
ONLY when I run an online game (in this case MapleStory) do I get the
following error: "WMI has encountered a problem and needs to close"

After I start the game this error pops up about every 15 minutes or so,
one after the other until I quite the game. Then none.

Anyone got any idea what's going on? It's only on this machine, as my
other two machines run the game with no WMI errors. Any way to stop
this? Do I even need it running?

WinXP home, AMD 3500, 1gig ram.
