I have a Samsung Blackjack that I can not get it to sync using WMDC. It syncs
fine with active sync 4.2 on my Xp Machine but not with VISTA. I have tried
to connect with usb and bluetooth (bluetooth sees the phone and I can conect
to the storage card when I change my connection settings on the phone to look
for that only) but without any success. I keep geting an error message when
it tries to load the driver ( device failed). I have opened all the ports
that were listed in a post. uninstalled WMDC and reinstalled WMDC update
Driver. I even did a hard reset on my phone. The phone is running Mobile 5 I
couple of strange things happened though Windows media palyer reconized the
phone but not the storage card (Trying to sync music from Napster) and when I
ran windows update it found an update for windows mobile device remote
adapter but when i tried to install the update it failed and it will not let
me reinstall it. I need this phone to sync to Outlook for my contacts and
calendar. Thanks in advance for any help.
