WMA file searching

Hello.

After I rip songs from my CD and organize them in Windows
Media Player I notice that there are multiple copies of
the files....Right now I have 53 wma files, but when I do
a wma file search it says I have 176.

Why does it do this?

Is there a way to customize this so it doesn't show more
files than what's supposed to be there?

If anybody can help me on this I'd greatly appreciate it.

Thanks

K

When deleting files, DO NOT drag your mouse, this action
will create duplicate files. You can delete many files
by highlighting the first entry hold down the Shift key
and the last entry. Rightclick any of the highlighted
entries and press delete. This action will delete
everything that is highlighted. To be selective, hold
down the Ctrl key to highlight one at a time.
