Wizards not working - VB error?

M

Monica

I have tried repairing my Access installation and updating
to the latest rev. No help. I cannot use any of the
wizards as I get the error that the wizard cannot be found
and that there is a syntax error in the declarations
section of a VB module. The table I was trying to check
with the wizard was imported from Excel 2000. But this has
happened in other db's?

I have enough frustration that I am thinking of either
uninstalling and reinstalling Office OR formatting the
drive - the latter hopefully is not necessary.

I have had the same problem with Access 2002. I have
uninstalled and reinstalled Office and it has not fixed
the problem.

Do you have Visual Studio 6 and/or Visual Studio .Net
installed? I do and was wondering if this was related to
the problem.

I have searched the KB articles and cannot find any
information on this problem.

Hopefully someone out there can answer this question soon.
