So I am having problems with my wireless. I just connected it to the computer
and it says connected and signal strength excellent. I had a problem with
this before and a friend fixed it for me. When it is displayed it says
disconnected but the strength is perfect.....Any suggestions?!

That often means that you don't have the right password or key length.
Check what the router is set for and use that.
