Wireless USB Cable

I want to put my printer into a different room. The printer connects
via USB, but it also has it's own power cord (so it doesn't need power
from the USB cable). It's pretty old, from around 2001, maybe 2002. I
don't know if it supports wireless anything. Does it have to?

Is there like a wireless USB thing I can do so that it doesn't even
know that it's being wireless? Like, essentially, a wireless usb
cable?

Or would I have to do actual wireless USB networking, like with ip
addresses and everything, in which case, would it need to actively
support that?

Thanks

There are wireless print servers such as this from Linksys; Printer doesn't
do
anything special.

`AMD tower

I have a wifi setup and can print to the printer from
anything. All I had to do was tell the network to
share the printer.
It's not much of a network, just a tower and a laptop.
The printer is connected to the tower, so the tower
has to be on for it to work.

Thanks, but do I need a wireless router for these? My router isn't
wireless..

I'm looking for something that doesn't involve an ip address. In other
words, just like a USB cable between the printer and my pc, except
without the cable. I guess that doesn't exist.

A 'wireless' cable...a wireless cable? A WIRELESS
CABLE?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can you describe it better?

Seriously, try to describe it better. If you say "wireless usb" or
"usb networking", everyone thinks you're talking about LAN's and
internet and something with an IP address. Search engines think so
too.
