wireless router affects opera bittorrent download speed?

i have opera bittorrent and i am downloading movies, everything seems pretty
fast until i got a wireless router, then when i download movies using opera
bittorrent the speed seems very slow (even with high seeds/peers, actually i
can't even connect to any high numbers of seeds/peers), does the wireless
router affect my opera bittorrent download speed? how can i config it to a
regular opera download speed, just like before when i had a mwired modem?
 
Check to see what ports are being used in Bittorrent and open those
ports on the router.
 
for the listening port (Opera Bittorrent), do i put it under the starting or
ending port?
 
also do i put it under Port Forwarding or Port Triggering?
