Wireless Over Cisco VPN Client

One of the users has a laptop running Windows 2000 Professional. He was
able to access the internet through wireless in a hotel. However, after
logging in to Cisco VPN client, he can no longer access the internet or the
local LAN network. He could not open Microsoft Outlook or ping any devices
even though he was authenticated through Cisco VPN client. Do you have any
suggestions? Thanks.

Sounds like the hotel does'nt have the required ports open, when our guys
have had this happen all I've been able to advise them to do is find another
wifi source like starbucks etc.
