wireless optical mouse installation

I just got a new microsoft wireless optical mouse. While
installing the IntelliPoint software I got an error
message that said I did not have the file under
windows\temp\is9371\1033.mst. INstallation was aborted. I
went to Explore in the Temp file and did not see it. How
do I get this file?

"temp" is a temporary folder - installations usual unpack to this folder
before installing then delete them - assuming the file is present in the
installation you might try making a proper folder yourself on your desktop
"myfolder" - unzipping the install file to "my folder", open it & then run
the setup program - once setup is complete you can delete "my folder"

in essence you're doing some of it manually - which may eliminate your
problem
