Can anyone shed light on this? Bought the WIRELESS NIC..Spent HOURS with
BELKIN TECNICAL and it would not work on the 2nd computer which DOES work
WIRED., We bridged the modem, ect & STILL NO LUCK..

Are there other wireless NICS which MAY work or if belkin did not ., nothing
will? Any ideas why it would not work WIRELESS?

Not enough info to even guess at problem. But, I am sending this through a
Belkin F5D7230-4 wireless router - connecting from a laptop with a NetGear
WG121 wireless USB adapter, using the NetGear client software,
infrastructure mode, WEP enabled.

In general, I recommend:

1. Try to try to establish an initial connection in Ad Hoc mode.

2. Use the wireless adpter's software rather than XP's built-in wireless
networking. But, if you want to troubleshoot XP wireless netoworking, go
here:

3. And, yes - some adapters just don't work right with some routers - using
the same manufacturer router/adapter is the best bet, but the above combo is
obviously working for me.
