Wireless network settings

I lost my remote connection via Linksys wireless
overnight. I did make changes in services.msc by turning
some to manual. None are on disable. Is there a particular
service that absolutely must be on automatic? In Network
Connections I have 3 Icons:

1) Wireless Network Connection
Wireless connection unavailable
LAN-Express IEEE 802.11 PCI Adapter

2) 1394 Connection
Enabled
1394 Net Adapter

3) Local Area Connection
Network Cable Unplugged
National Semiconducter Corp DP 83

The phone wire is connected, and I changed it to no avail.

Thanks for your help. Oh, host is XP Pro, remote XP Home.

Why did you change the service settings? Which ones did you change?

I recommend using System Restore to go back in time to before that
happened.
