I have just fitted a belkin 802.11g network card into my computer (it isnt new, but was working in another pc a few months ago, and looks in good condition)

And here is what happenes when i try to connect to my network:

untitled50rq.gif

It should have 5 bar signal where i am, my 802.11b USB dongle does, ignor the "wiresless network connection 5" it is number 5 as i have tried reinstalling the drivers for the card, and i have plugged the USB dongle into many USB ports. although the back one dosent show 5, this is because i edited it out to make it easyer, but i forgot the front one.

Any suggestions as to what i should do? i need this card to work as i need the g speed. and i dont want to buy a new one

Thanks,

KGB

I take it you've entered the Security Key exactly correct, as mine sometimes throw's a wobbly when i reinsert the card.

Have you loaded the Belkin wireless utility from the CD that comes with it? - it looks like you are using the windows network connection - I found with mine that the card didn't like it, I had to disable windows and use the belkin one.
