I have a Lynksys Befw11s4 router and would like to buy a wireless
network card to install on one of my desktop computers with Windows
Vista. Do certain kinds of network cards work better with my router
than others or is there any difference between the different
manufacturers? Also, do usb cards work just as good as a pci slot
card.

Hi
Your router is an old router capable to work only in 802.11b mode. So, in
principle, any wireless card would do.
The choice of Wireless Cards that have Vista Drivers is rather small. So
price and Vista compatibility can be your guideline.

As for PCI vs. USB this might help,

Jack (MVP-Networking).
