wireless,need driver for usb

I installed XP and have a wireless to connect to my
router, router on main computer works fine, I was told to
get service patch 1 for the drivers I need but cannot
connect to get it, help? Is there somewhere to d/l the
patch so I can put on a cd then install? I couldnt find at
microsoft where I could save to disk, only scan and then
d/l, not to save. Thanks
