"Limited or No Connectivity"

Yesterday I turned on my laptop and was connected to my wireless router but
there was a warning that said "Limited or No Connectivity." My Wii and
desktop (Vista) are not having any problems connecting to our wireless router
(D-Link). I figured it was a virus so I did a factory restore using the CD
provided by Toshiba. I back everything up on an external hard drive and
wanted to solve the problem right away. However, the problem is not fixed.
I tried getting online by hooking my laptop up via cord to the router. I was
still unable to log on.

I read somewhere that this might be a problem with XP S2 pack but I check
updates regularly and have never had a problem before. Since I can not get
online I'm unable to run any necessary patches.

This is extremely frustrating and I would appreciate any assistance.

Howdy,

When I switch to it, one of my NICs does just that, and has
for months...

I have never been able to find out why, but...

If I click on its properties, then Disable, then Enable, all
is well, every time.

All the best,
