Wireless Multimedia Keyboard 1.0a

I have used this keyboard for a while and been v happy with it but I now have
a PC (at work) which only has USB ports. OK for the mouse which works and
curiously already has a USB connector, but the keyboard connection is a ps2 .
I used a ps2 to USB adapter but PC says the device plugged into the USB port
is not working/recognised. (re initialising the connection with the keyboard
and transmitter dosent help).
Any help/solutions please
