Hi All,

I just installed a microsoft wireless keyboard and mouse, but they seem to
be working erratically, forcing me to reboot the system every time, no such
problem with the wired keyboard, I deleted the legacy keyboard programs
before loading this one ?

any thoughts on what could be wrong ?

Its an intellipoint mouse and Keyboard

what I meant to ask is do you have any other wireless products around like
routers or phones sometime they can interfere. You may also want to try to
change the sensitivity settings in the control panel under Mouse and/or
Keyboard.

Check for:

1) Enable USB in BIOS
2) Enable Legacy USB / USB Keyboard in BIOS.
3) Install/update motherboard chipset drivers and USB filters
4) Check on USB ports and turn off "Allow the computer to turn off this device
to save power" (in Device Manager.)
5) Install the latest drivers (Intellitype and Intellipoint.)
6) Change batteries with "known" fresh ones.

Thanks for the response,

Just checking the BIOS BOOT log - its has got a list of keyboard error for
the duration that the wireless keyboard was plugged in, after I plugged in my
wired keyboard this error stopped ...however the wire less mouse is working
fine...Its just the keyboard that is acting up..It does not have a USB
plugin..The batteries are brand new.. I do have a wireless PCI card in my
desktop and I disabled it / then took it out, to remove any interference but
no luck ???

any other thoughts...

Regards
