Help!

My other computer (obviously) won't detect the wireless internet connection
that I know is available in my house. Any suggestions???

Hi,

Are other wireless devices detected?
Does this pc detect other wireless networks?
Is the wireless set up to use mac addressing to block unwanted intrusions?

Well this computer has never attempted to detect a wireless connection, and
it detects no wireless networks at all, not even unsecure ones. As for mac
addressing, I have no idea what that is :X. It is a gateway notebook though,
if that helps at all.

Hi,

Is the wireless integrated or an add-on card? For the former, there is
sometimes a switch on the bottom of the laptop to enable/disable the
wireless unit. For the latter, you may need to update/install drivers.
