Wireless Internet Connection Problems

I live in an apartment building and I can pick up a wireless connection and
it says the connection is very good, however I try to open the internet and
it doesnt connect. Can anyone help me?! Thank you

Is it controlled by you or the apartment?
If the apartment - what instructions do they give out - because it is
unlikely to be insecure - since they are paying for the bandwidth for you.

You are trying to "piggy-back" other someone else's wireless network. You may
be able to "see" the signal but they have "secured" the network access.
Without the security settings, you will not access the Internet.
